Hi, I am Martha and I have been part of the Kawana Dental team since 2012 when I moved to the Sunny Coast after working in Brisbane for 7 years. I was born in Colombia and I graduated from Valle University in 1995.
I understand how stressful it can be to attend the dentist, so I greatly enjoy helping patients overcome dental anxiety by creating a supportive, calm environment and building trusting relationships that allow them to feel confident throughout their treatment. I have a strong interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry (prep and non-prep veneers, composite veneers and crowns). Since 2025 I incorporated in to my practice the Bioclear system to close black triangles and rejuvenate smiles with a conservative approach. I also offer to my patients the option of having same day crowns when needed.
Supporting patients in achieving healthy and functional aesthetic smiles is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
I like to attend continuing education and professional development courses to keep up to date with the latest technology in dentistry. I am also a member of the Australian Dental Association. Spanish speaking patients are welcome as well.
Outside work , I like practicing yoga and reading personal development books.
