Donna Pitot

Hi I’m Donna! Let me tell you the story of how I fell in love with teeth!

It all started 29 years ago in Melbourne, where I got my first job as a dental assistant on Collins Street. Working there, I discovered my passion for dental excellence and preventing those pesky dental diseases.

So….I decided to continue studying and ended up graduating from Griffith University’s Oral Health Therapy program in 2011. Since then, I’ve been treating kiddos in Queensland School Dental Services and in private practice on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie.

But my favourite part of being an Oral Health Therapist?  Making sure kids have a positive, painless experience at the dentist.  My goal is to make sure their chompers are happy, healthy, and shining like the stars!  Plus, I take pride in teaching them how to care for their teeth so they can pass on those skills to their own little ones one day.  Seeing my lovely patients return with pearly whites and big grins is what makes my day!

When I’m not playing the role of tooth fairy, you can find me at home with my hubby and two little minions who always have unlimited energy (and great dental hygiene, of course). We love reading stories, playing games, and exploring the beautiful beaches and mountains of the Sunshine Coast. And when we’re feeling extra adventurous, we hit the Coast on our mountain bikes for some quality family time.

Oh, and I also love finding natural health solutions for my family and friends, because being healthy and happy is the best way to live.
